What does your work on a wedding day look like?
I’m all about simplicity and am very focused on in-between moments, like when you admire your wedding bands for the first time, when you hug your partner after the ceremony, when you have a drink with your guests and share good laughs - I snap these photos. I love to capture real emotions in a journalistic kind of way. It’s all about human connections, like how your eyes sparkle when you see each other or the way your partner smiles at you during the ceremony. For telling your wedding story, I’d love to start capturing your day with the getting-ready part, continue with a first look and finish with your first dance as newlyweds or sparklers send-off. I strive to take photos that are as unique as you are as a couple. I don’t just shoot; I will capture your personality, real emotions of your guests and you, and the beauty of your day.
What is your photographic style?
I’m a believer in all that is authentic, simple and natural. My approach is very gentle and artistic, helping my couples to look and feel in their most natural and romantic way.
How do your wedding collections look like?
My wedding collections start at $1750. For a full day coverage, an engagement session, and a second shooter you should consider an investment of around $3000. Also, I offer prints and albums, which my couples love for their outstanding quality. For more info, pricing details, and availability, please contact me here.
Do you have insurance?
Of course, I have! It's crucial to be covered - better safe than sorry. Moreover, most venues require vendors to have at least $1,000,000 coverage. I decided to go with a $2,000,000 coverage. Also, my insurance covers all equipment, so I am ready to take risky shots over the water and from heights. :)
How do you protect yourself from electronics/equipment malfunction?
I have backups of everything! On weddings and proposals, I carry two cameras, multiple lenses, multiple speedlights, batteries, and even chargers just in case. My cameras have dual memory card slots, which means that photos are taken on two memory cards simultaneously. As soon as I get back home, I upload photographs on two hard drives, and also, on cloud storage. Your gallery is delivered via an online platform - photos stored on that platform, and also, I keep the photos for at least 180 days from the day of delivery on my hard drives.
How long does it take until we get our images and how do we get them?
Approximately six weeks from the day of your wedding. Only four weeks for your engagement/lifestyle/family sessions. You receive best, edited with my signature color-correction photos as jpeg files via a private online gallery. Your gallery will be downloadable both in full and web resolutions for at least 180 days from the day of delivery. Besides that, I can provide you with your favorite photographs printed on a fine art paper, including large format prints, framed prints, layflat heirloom albums for you and your families, etc.
What's your plan in the worst-case scenario?
I will do my best to be present on your day. But shit happens. That's why I have a backup plan shared with my associate and my family. I am a member of a professional wedding photographers community that is ready to cover the backs of its members. You won't be left without a professional photographer on your wedding day, even if I'm unable to come to you.
Can we meet you in advance?
Sure! I’d love to meet you in person and have a cup of coffee or a pint of craft beer together in NYC or Nassau County! If that is not possible, we can chat via Skype. It’s a good chance for us to find out how we vibe with each other. For me, it’s essential that you feel comfy in front of my camera and see me as a friend.
Do you travel for weddings and what are your travel fees?
I am fond of traveling! I’d love to be part of your wedding – no matter where it will take place. For more details, feel free to contact me. Travel fees are tailored individually.
Do you work on your own or with an assistant?
2/3 of weddings I cover solo. However, for larger weddings with 120+ guests, I strongly recommend to include a second shooter in your collection. I do it for your own good. A second shooter takes care of guests during a cocktail hour, a second shooter captures your ceremony from a different angle, and helps me to create the most creative shots! + my crew of seconds is the best. :)
Do you offer engagement/couple and family sessions as well?
Oh, yes! I’m thrilled to do so. Engagement sessions are a perfect opportunity to get comfortable in front of a camera and to get to know me and my style. Lifestyle sessions are ideal for your anniversaries or just as an excuse for a romantic getaway. And, of course, family sessions are a must for every family! Feel free to include dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, and other cute pets in your session. They are a part of a family and make photo sessions even more joyful for you and me.
Can you hold the date, until _____(add any reason here)?
I can’t keep the date without a signed contract and a 30% retainer; however, I will inform you when I have another inquiry for your date, so you will have priority to decide that day before I proceed on to booking another client.
Can we provide you with photo suggestions from Pinterest, etc.?
Sure! I always welcome your ideas. And the more I know about you and your preferences – the better I can document your special day. I can't guarantee that we will get the exact same shot, but I will put all my professional efforts to create the best experience for you.
I would be happy to suggest possible locations for a photo session and other details as well.
Can you provide us with raw, unedited files?
I do this for an additional fee. Let's talk!
I can only accept a limited number of weddings a year to ensure the highest quality of service and creative energy for each couple.
I believe in the uniqueness of each wedding and strive to capture the beauty of the moment.
The earlier you get in touch with me, the higher is the chance your preferred date is still available.
